We plan to replace the Turk Road bridge over West Fork Dairy Creek with a 75-foot, single span concrete bridge. We will pave the portions of Turk Road approaching the bridge.

Rock will be placed under the bridge span to prevent erosion. Portions of the roadside approaching the bridge will have drainage facilities to improve water flow and quality.

All improvements will take place entirely within the public right-of-way. We do not anticipate needing to acquire any right-of-way permanently. Some temporary construction easements may be needed.

The bridge will be 24-feet wide with two traffic lanes, guardrails and will meet current safety standards. The segments of the road approaching the bridge will have two traffic lanes, shoulders and drainage facilities.

Construction will result in a road closure at the bridge. Traffic will be detoured around Pihl Road.
